Call or email to reserve. In your message, include: date + ferry time, how many bikes, and how you plan to bring them to Block Island
Get a firm confirmation. You'll know that I've added you to the schedule! If there's any uncertainty, don't hesitate to call! If you email and don’t hear back within 24 hours, call. Voicemail is great!

How to book checklist

Call or email to reserve. Tell me where you’re coming from (Montauk, New London, Newport, flying into Westerly, etc.), your arrival ferry time, and how many bikes.
Remote setup. We’ll handle the waiver, payment, sizing, and a quick safety video by text.
Confirmation. I’ll message exact pickup instructions for the Block Island Ferry Freight office. Freight is + $25 per bike round-trip (I handle the freight payment/logistics; you just pick up and drop off).

Day-of flow
Arrive early. Aim for 45–60 minutes before your ferry on busier days (30 minutes on lighter days).
Parking. My shop is 235 Sand Hill Cove Rd. There’s often parking nearby; shoulder months = easier/cheaper, peak summer = expect to pay ~$15–$20/day. Ask me when you book and I’ll steer you to the best lot that day.
Pickup. I’ll have your bikes ready, do quick fit checks, answer questions, and point you to the boat. It’s a 1–2 minute ride to the terminal.
Ferry tickets. Grab your passenger tickets and a round-trip for the bikes (easy at the window or online).
The ride. Enjoy the island.
Return. Load back on the ferry, ride to the shop, and drop off. If something changes, text/call, and we’ll adjust.

Pickup & drop-off
Pickup at the BI Freight office at your arrival time. Oftentimes, the bikes may arrive before you. Sometimes, they may arrive shortly after you do. Call if you have any questions
Drop off back to Freight before your departure. Bikes must go back on or before the last traditional ferry of the day! They cannot be transported aboard the high-speed ferry!
Everything else—questions, tweaks, route tips—happens by text/phone since we likely won’t meet in person.
If you don't hear back
Same rule as always: if 24 hours pass or travel is close, call, call, call.
